Tyler and Coach CowperCoach Cowper was by far Tyler's favorite coach of all time. He saw potential in every young man on his team. He developed a strong relationship with each team member and helped them to see in themselves what he knew they had in them. I was impressed with his calm nature towards the boys. Many coaches would get angry and upset when their team didn't perform well, but Coach Cowper always took those moments as teaching opportunities and the boys responded well to that. The end result was great respect and admiration for a Coach that treated them as athletes and also as friends.
Tyler and BryceVolleyball Season 2009 was filled with many hours of practise, games, tournaments and hard work. The end result was winning Zones for the South Central Area. I am so proud of what these young men accomplished and for their determination to win. It was exciting to watch each game and to see the progress they made throughout the season. I am definitely a fan of volleyball this year! The level of play was so different from their grade 9 season. The time spent sitting in the bleachers watching, and cheering on the Falcons was so worth it. Tyler and Bryce have been playing Basketball and Volleyball since grade 7. I can only imagine what it will be like to watch them in grade 12. GO FALCONS!!!!!
